If you have been following the lumber industry you know that for the past 6 months we have been seeing record breaking curtailments for various lumber and plywood mills. A curtailment is when the Mills make the tough decision to limit production. In some cases they shut the mill down indefinitely. These curtailments were generally in response to record low lumber pricing and the unsustainable nature of those prices for the mills.
