Following a busy summer launch of the partnership with Georgia-Pacific, Sherwood Lumber continues to fulfill orders for the highly sought-after Engineered Lumber Products at a staggering pace. The trucks are currently rolling out of Prime Distribution in Palmer, MA, headed for yards up and down the east coast. By carrying the full line of Georgia-Pacific's ELP, including GP LAM® LVLWOOD I BEAM™ JOISTSFIBERSTRONG® RIM BOARD and GP GLULAM COLUMNS & BEAMS, Sherwood is able to fill a large gap in the northeast that can now greatly benefit from this revolutionary product line.

Following the initial distribution out of Prime in Mass., these products will soon ship out of its Holtsville, N.Y. and Delanco, N.J. facilities as well. Dealers served from these branches will be able to buy full units of material or job lot quantities in the territories of eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, eastern New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

“We’re excited to be working with such a great building products distributor in Sherwood Lumber,” said Paul Watterson, general manager for Georgia-Pacific Wood Products. “Their experience selling a full complement of dimensional framing lumber as well as specialty building products makes them a great fit within our ELP strategy.”
